About

Meet MerCureY

Artist. Lyricist. Producer. Audio engineer. In that order, most days.

I'm an Atlanta native, and what I make is MercMusic — a style I stopped trying to fit into one genre a long time ago. It's mostly rap, with pop, EDM and rock bleeding into it depending on the day and the song.

I write about our common human experience with real stories and a triumphant attitude. That's not a tagline, it's just what comes out when I'm honest.

I've dealt with anxiety and depression firsthand, and I talk about it where it fits — on records and out loud. Somebody hearing it and feeling less alone is worth more than a clean image.

I produce and engineer most of what I put out, and a lot of what other people put out too. Outkast, Mac Miller, Migos, Money Man, Bad Bunny, the Eagles, Wiz Khalifa — you can probably hear all of them in here somewhere.

The name comes from Mercury, the Roman messenger — wings on his feet, moving between worlds, carrying the thing that mattered. That's the job. 🔥🔊👽
